Treadmill Challenge: Bozeman V. Missoula

  • The Mountain Project 507 Bond Street Bozeman, MT, 59715 United States (map)

Join us on Wednesday, February 11th, as 12 of Bozeman’s best runners–6 men and 6 women–face off to be crowned King and Queen of the treadmill challenge in Bozeman and the state. This year, we’re competing directly with The Runner’s Edge in Missoula via livestream.

This is a super fun, rowdy event, with plenty of good natured heckling. Both participants and spectators are encouraged to wear costumes! We'll have DJ Groovio with the tunes and plenty of beer and NA drinks on hand.

Betting brackets are back: it’s $5 to buy in and bet in a March Madness style bracket. The winner receives half the pot, and the other half goes to our non-profit recipient, Bozeman Track Club.

How does the Treadmill Challenge work?

3 athletes compete head-to-head on 3 separate treadmills that are set to a 12% grade. Each athlete has 10-minutes to run as far as they can. Athletes control their own speed.

Date: Wednesday, February 11

Schedule:
Doors open: 6:30 PM
Betting closes: 6:55 PM
Heats begin: 7:00 PM sharp
