Join TMP Coach, Colleen Shields, and two ski guides from Beartooth Powder Guides for a fun ladies weekend at the Woody Creek Cabin in the Beartooth Mountains near Cooke City.This 3-day, 2-night women’s course is designed to fill the gaps between a Level 1 and Level 2 Avalanche course. We’ll have a custom education experience PLUS a lot more time skiing powder with our guides!(More details on the itinerary below).

Includes accommodation, professional female guides from Beartooth Mountain Guides, and food. All gear and transportation to/from Cooke City is the attendee's responsibility. We encourage carpooling amongst attendees.

To participate in this program we recommend being physically comfortable skiing uphill for a full day (pace will be recreational), are comfortable and confident with your gear and safety equipment, and that you have prior backcountry skiing experience. This course is not designed for those that are new to skiing and/or in their first backcountry skiing season. Please be aware that this is a remote backcountry yurt experience.

Spots open first to Winter 24/25' Female Athlete Project cohort, then to the full Mountain Project community.First come first serve.

Day 1

0830 - Meet at Beartooth Powder Guides office
0900 -Hike to Woody Creek Cabin
1030- Hut Intro/ Settle in/ Pack Lunch
1100 am- 1700 pm Go for ski tour

Day 2

0815 Guides arrive at hut
0900-1700 pm Full day ski tour

Day 3

0815 Guides arrive at hut
0900-1430 Ski tour
1430-1500 Debrief weekend
1600 Arrive in Cooke City for departure
